"Haven't Met You Yet" is the first single by Canadian jazz singer Michael Bublé from his 2009 album Crazy Love. Like Bublé's song "Everything", this song carries an adult contemporary sound. A clip of the song was released via "The Daily Bublé", an online newspaper found on his official website. Another clip was also available for those downloading the mp3 at Amazon.com. The full song was available for streaming only at, his official fan club, Friday, August 28, and was later available on Bublé's official page following its release on Monday, August 31. The single is now released on iTunes and similar music-purchasing sites. The song had its debut on CHFI-FM in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in late August 2009.
In its first week, "Haven't Met You Yet" debuted at #65 with only digital downloads to promote it. It has become his second highest charting song behind Everything (42). On the week ending October 24, 2009, it re-entered the Hot 100 at #90. The following week, the song rose to #57, becoming already a moderate success. Simultaneously, it debuted at position number 33 on the digital songs chart, 22 on the adult contemporary charts, and a top 5 debut in Canada.
Meanwhile on the UK Singles Chart, Michael scores his first top ten single after debuting at nine with the song. The song remained at number 9 the following week, in its 3rd week it climbed to number 5 making it his first Top 5 Hit and highest ever entry in the UK.
The official music video was released on October 1, 2009. The video is about Bublé in a supermarket (Killarney Market located in Vancouver, BC, Canada) and after meeting a blonde woman (Luisana Lopilato, his real life girlfriend) at a fridge, all the customers and staff started dancing around the store and eventually moved outside to the parking lot covered in confetti. The video then cuts to Bublé at the till with the cashier handing him his receipt while he is still seemingly daydreaming before awaking. An embarrassed Bublé then takes the receipt and walks out with everyone staring at him. As he is about to exit the supermarket, he sees the blonde woman from his daydream walking into the supermarket. He takes a glance at her and walks out of the supermarket unhappily.
